Lets say theoretically, If instead of going down it was slowly going up, would you still have pulled the plug or would you still have shut it down? Your comments about how you split out the work and decisions are very interesting - I think it&#039;s something that we need to try.

I wondered, who do your employees report to? Do they report to you both? Or is there a clear divide that follows through to the teams in terms of backend / front of house?  Do you feel that you specifically can&#039;t ask anyone to do anything product related if that&#039;s Chris&#039;s area of focus?
Finally, what do you do when you and Chris disagree on a business decision? How do you resolve it?

That&#039;s definitely my quota of questions! Feel free to pick one if all are too time-consuming!

Our vision was to make an email that was very engaging and data-driven with lots of visuals. We were shocked at the lack of a good solution for getting image charts into emails. We built something internally, and then it hit us: other people would love this.


And on Tuesday we launched https://ChartURL.com :)


It&#039;s already had over 100 signups and 10 credit cards swiped. Not bad for a little side project at all!


Love this post so much. Gives me so much to think about moving forward with ChartURL in the coming months.
