re: personal energy – great question. It wasn’t easy but I just couldn’t operate the way were because I knew there just had to be a better way. Had to just dig a little deeper than expected to find it 🙂

We went through a similar issue with transitioning from early generalists to more recently hired laser-focused-specialists. Switching up meeting rhythms and reporting made a big difference.

Rebuilding tech from scratch would scare the heck out of me! What gave you the personal energy to come out of the slump and get on the offensive?

re: fundraising – we’re bootstrapped and aren’t raising. Never will.

re: profitability – we were but as a founder I can’t live with stagnation. It’s just not in my blood to not try my hardest to get us in a position to win 🙂
