Alex! Thanks a lot for the post. As you correctly put it, the strategy may have different components depending on the industry we're in, but the bottom line is that we need to 1) create a strategy, 2) stick to it through the year, 3) measure well analyze at the end, 4) and improve. Thanks a lot for sharing again. I'm going to share this article with a number of my clients that I know will find the article and Groove helpful!

Hey Alex, great post, thanks for sharing the results of 1 year of hard work and the plans for the next year. We failed with some metrics too and it is a good thing, because you can reflect what happened and act accordingly and having goals is important to be sure what you're doing with every single activity.
Fingers crossed with the goals for the next year!

This is brilliant stuff, I am going through a lot of the same challenges re: focusing on what works when creating great content. It's so easy to get caught up with so many different strategies and tactics.

How are experiments with the new content formats coming? I would love to see more interactive forms of content like a Q&A series on WP Curve.

"best in class is a moving target that evolves with the market, and most importantly your customers."

True words. This is always my number one goal when working on anything. Value trumps everything!

Good luck with the next 12 months :)

Great post! You guys have excellent content on your blogs. Keep up the good work.

We switched to Groove a few months ago and I believe our support has improved tremendously. The UI is easy to use and fast. I am able to read/write many more emails than before. It has helped me to track customer issues and follow up more frequently with customers. Looking forward to the next year of improvements!

Thanks!

Hey Alex,

Another great article. Maybe you failed hitting your goal, but at least the ones you have on board are happy customers ( we started using Groove in the last couple of months and we love it). Happy customers = bring more customers :)

Love this post Alex. One of the best posts yet in my opinion. Great to hear that your number one tactic was a huge success and it opened up the organic / SEO channel for you, and you're finding that those users convert faster and at a higher rate. And that the integrations are paying off. We're finding the same at Hubstaff. Paid acquisition has been hard for us to figure out. I'd love to read a post on your strategy there. This is also gold... "Be Brutally Honest With How Many Tactics. You Can Pursue at Once." Congrats on your growth.
