I’m delivering a training day for the new application we’ve developed for a company and the new way of working is going to be a big change from the previous method. However, long term the people using it will benefit once they are past the re-training stage.

My new plan is to deliver our vision for the application at the start of the training session, rather than going straight in and saying “…this is how it’s to be from now on…”

On a personal level, whenever someone asks:
Them: What do you want to do with your life?
Me: Shrug.

Them: What’s your dream job?
Me: Derp.

I can’t tell anyone exactly what I want to be, but I can tell you exactly how I want to make people feel.
I hear you. I see you. I acknowledge you. Now let’s try to get you from A to B.
I LOVE going on forums and giving strategies, not advice; because in my head, that’s what people REALLY come onto these forums for.
Actionable and practical strategy that doesn’t revolve around a lot of high priced tools and an exorbitant amount of money.

But more patience, time, strategy, and work.

It’s not a well defined North Star, as I would like, but I know my intentions. And I believe the right opportunities will present themselves because of this.
