Perfect Len, what a great post. I love the stats and study on the gratitude aspect. I believe this is beyond Thanksgiving gratitude challenge. If this will be part of the daily life of all of us, world will be so much better place to live in and to interact with others. I’m grateful to see content like this which may open the eyes of others and improve the communication with each others.

Yup! we often get too carried away with everyday routines and cycles that it’s just all too easy to forget that the True Happiness lies in the littlest of the things…. as long as you really mean it and they’re heartfelt! ..cuz at the end of the day, nothing beats Honesty. Cheers!

Great post (and idea), Len! I have always done hand-written holiday cards to all clients.

I recently started a training website (membership model) and send out a personal video to each new member. I also send out a hand-written thank you card (my hand writing looks like a third grader’s) to each new member.

Also, when a member spends over $100, I send out “The Go Giver” book to them.

Excellent post, and I need to get started on my personal emails to each member/client as you pointed out.

Yes! My company does this every year. We call our donors (non-profit) and thank them for their gifts. Everyone in the company has to participate.

The best part is that we are no longer required to ask for an end of the year donation. It helps make the thank more personal and less like an underhanded donation request.

Thanks for this post, this is a great challenge! My business is still in development so I don’t have any customers yet, per se, but I can still think of some ways to apply this (for example, notes to my lawyer, contractors, etc). Plus, I have a blog with “customers”, so it might be a good time for me to reach out to some regular readers/commenters. 🙂

I send handwritten holiday cards to all our customers. I have done this every year. I think they appreciate the gesture of a hand written card.
