Hi Alex,

Thanks for the post!

I discovered the blog last week, and I'm slowly catching up with everything you've published.

Being in the shoes of someone who is just starting his own startup, I'm very interested by anything you say on content marketing. I've been a huge fan of documenting my journey and the hardship I face for a long time (I did it a couple of years ago when I took a year of my day job to build a video game).

On your case, Groove's customers are startup founders, so it makes a lot of sense to have this synergy. In our case, we're building a platform, and the value and expertise will be brought by the two parties.

We are not expert in the problem space our customers would focus in, as the actual answers are provided by the other party. I've had a look at various platform blogs (eg airbnb), but the content is scarce.

I was wondering if you had any advice on the content to focus on? I definitely would like to document our journey, even though that's probably not aligned with our customers' issues.

Thanks a lot Alex :)

Trying to find the perfect domain proved to be a lot harder then we thought it would be. Not only choosing the right name, but then once you think you have it, you find that the TLD extensions you want are already taken. I remember being totally frustrated and then reading one of the early blog posts Alex wrote that mentioned something along of lines of stop thinking about it and just do it. We chose the name Posto and with the .com price tag around $75k with some crazy broker, we with a .io extension. This has proven to had little to no effect on our growing startup. Just stop, make a choice and move on...thanks for the sage advice Alex.

We struggled with the .com question as well. We ended up running a cheap crowdsourcing contest to see if we'd get any good ideas - and we did!
> “SMB’s and startups,” of which there are 76 million around the world.

Could you provide the source of this number. It's very difficult to find that kind stats. The last number I got was 125 million companies in general.

Alex! We just built and launched www.marketingmarket.net a startup following your principles.
