					<description><![CDATA[Thanks for this post, very valuable for people working in startup, where we do not have specialized HR people - and hiring the good people (and keeping them) is so important! 

I could not agree more with the fact that it is better to hire carefully and methodically and I personally despise the “hire fast, fire faster” cliché. Better to take more time to hire the right person than loosing way more time and money by making mistakes. And we are talking about human beings, not things to be &quot;tried&quot;. 

About the trial project: what do you do for positions that require a considerable training/onboarding period? (By example, back-end developers who has to become familiar with the code?)
