Enjoying the Q& A's Alex and team.

Your blog(s) provide a significant amount of information for readers.

My question(s) therefore are
1: You have said that you’re an avid reader/learner. With so much relevant information available to you and your team how do you organise new ideas from blogs you’ve read or people you’ve talked to into actionable next steps.

and

2: With all this new information how do you insure that those learning's aren't duplicated. (i.e. - A team member researches 'effective social media marketing'. How do you ensure in 5 months time someone else doesn't research the same information therefore wasting time and effort on something that's already been researched).

Thanks in advance,
Graham

Really enjoyed this Friday's Q&A! Loved what you had to say about VAs. You have a perceptive on them I haven't yet heard. Most people think VAs are glamorous and a sign of having "made it." I like that you choose NOT to have one as a way of taking ownership of your time.

Okay, so here's my Q: What are your thoughts on advertising? Does Groove invest in ads? If so, which types? If not, why? I'm curious because the more I talk to folks in my industry about ads, I'm finding it's a pretty polarizing topic from company to company.

Hello Alex
I completely relate with Cherlyn's problem. Information overload is huge deal. Tons of blogs. Email lessons. Books. You can just read information for one year straight. How can you cope with this and be able to execute.

Dear Alex,

Just want to say that I'm a huge fan of your blog, and yes, listening is such an important aspect of the business.

In the beginning, it's hard not to get overwhelmed by the things you have to do to get started as an entrepreneur.

In fact, some people (like me) get so overwhelmed by the vast amount of advice and tools out there that we hardly start and sit on our asses reading even more advice to get the "best" advice.

I'm not sure if you covered this somewhere in your blog already, but if you haven't, how did you tackle that during Groove's early days?

Thanks!
Cherlyn
