Friday Q&A Question: 2015 seemed to be the year of outbound B2B sales. Every week I am bombarded with calls and emails from companies trying to sell me their SaaS product, marketing services, directory listings, and the list goes on. While I respect the hustle, I'm nice and respond to more than I should. Many times, I just say we are not interested at the moment which leads to follow up calls/emails every month - like clockwork. Any suggestions on how to politely say "No" and remove me from your list (without being to harsh)?

This isn't a question, but I see that Neil Patel more or less ripped off your blog slogan.
I understand that entrepreneurs copy stuff from each other but he hardly changed a thing.

Then again, maybe you can address something like this in the next post?

Regarding potential mentors and advisors, I have gotten that first coffee / lunch and always find their feedback super useful and implement a lot of their recommendations, but how do you keep them engaged? The ones I don't message never message me back, and those that I follow up with is a mixed bag. I feel like after the first meeting, the excitement of giving quick advice and being generous peters out. Should I just keep pushing until I get push back? Or the lack of anything back? Is there a typical etiquette around this type of relationship?

Another question for next Q&A post- How do first time entrepreneurs find the right advisers? Advisers who can really help in customer development, finding product market fit and building team. Not the advisers who just give high level generic advice. Also, how do we compensate them? What's in it for them? Thanks!

Thanks so much for such a thoughtful response Alex. Your blogs and Q&A have almost become a textbook for me. I keep referring back to them whenever I have doubt about any topic or need guidance. Keep up the good work.
